Zbigniew on Morning Joe: Iraq through the eyes of a psychic

Former National Security Advisor Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski was prescient in his concerns on the eve of the United States-Coalition forces'invasion of Iraq. Five years later, on MSNBC's Morning Joe, he characterizes America as "bogged down" and "part of the problem" and explains why Barack Obama is the best leader to help us find a way out.

  1. I was amazed how scarborough backpedaled on his anti obama slant during the interview (he did however switch it to a hillary bashing slant).
On one hand I think he's a slippery eel of a position taker & espouser, gifted in that he takes strong positions and still has the nerve to sway.
On the other hand, there's something to be said for him being respectful of this older gentleman, as one should be, but pundits often aren't. Even taking into consideration that this is Mica's father and he would'nt s#!+ where he sleeps/works, I found it almost encouraging.
Bottom line: Pops is on point and I wish i could see him on more shows, he seems to have the political standing to reveal "ballsy" stances, and by ballsy I mean truthful and rational. Refreshing in comparison to other Obama surrogates, who, in the face of the Wright controversy, still haven't pointed to the truth in his statements, still haven't cited Tuskeegee, still haven't framed Palestinian struggle as analogous to Native Americans and blacks, still haven't pointed to the fact that, on msnbc, cnn and of course fox, there are no black hosts, and how this affects the balance of the discussions occurring.
